Senior Energy Expert
Leading strategic energy-transition programmes for ACC's clients.
We're looking for a Senior Energy Expert to help ACC turn complex challenges in the energy transition into concrete projects, propositions, and solutions.
If you enjoy working on new markets, flexibility, grid congestion, digitalization, and smart software solutions, and you want to work on projects that are actually built, implemented and used, this could be a good fit.
What you'll do
As a Senior Energy Expert, you're the go-to person for clients on energy markets and flexibility. You advise on market developments, strategy and opportunities, and help clients translate these into concrete actions.
You'll also join conversations with prospective clients. Together with Business Development, you discuss their challenges and ambitions. You bring the energy expertise, answer questions about markets and processes, and connect them to the technical possibilities of our software and services.
Within projects, you work closely with colleagues from Business Development, software development and architecture. You help translate client needs into practical solutions and contribute to shaping new propositions and services.
Drawing on your expertise, you help think through topics such as flexibility, congestion management, trading optimisation, BSP/BRP processes and new market models. You also share your knowledge through workshops, presentations and in-depth publications.
What you bring
Must have
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in the energy sector
- In-depth knowledge of energy markets, flexibility, trading, congestion and related topics
- Experience with consultancy, business development or strategic projects
- The ability to quickly analyze and structure complex challenges
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
- Experience bringing clients and stakeholders along in a vision and approach
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to take ownership
Nice to have
- Experience with software, data or automation projects in the energy sector
- Experience as a substantive project lead or lead consultant
- Knowledge of BSP/BRP processes, trading optimization or asset control
- Experience developing propositions, partnerships or new services
- Experience with workshops, white papers, presentations, or other forms of thought leadership

- A gross salary range of €6,300 – €7,800 per month, depending on your level of relevant experience
