Junior Solution Engineer

We're looking for a Junior Solution Engineer to join ACC and help turn opportunities in the energy transition into clear, practical solutions.
If you enjoy working with customers, understanding what they need, and helping translate ideas into concrete proposals, prototypes or first solutions, this could be a good fit.
What you'll do
You'll work at the intersection of energy, business development, and practical delivery. You'll help us understand customer questions, explore market developments, and turn early ideas into clear next steps.
You'll work closely with experienced energy specialists, software developers, and commercial colleagues. Together, you will help shape proposals, business cases, solution directions, and first working versions that can later grow into robust software or services.
You'll support customer conversations, help prepare substantive analyses and proposals, and contribute to practical solutions around topics such as flexibility, grid congestion, batteries, energy hubs, trading, and asset control.
What you bring
Must have
- A strong interest in the energy transition and the role of data, software and flexibility
- Comfortable working with customers and helping translate their questions into practical next steps
- Analytical, but not stuck in analysis: you like turning ideas into concrete action
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics in a simple way
- A pragmatic mindset and the motivation to learn quickly
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with colleagues
- Comfortable communicating in both Dutch and English
Nice to have
- Knowledge of energy markets, flexibility, grid congestion, batteries or energy hubs
- Experience with business development, proposals, customer research or market exploration
- Experience working with technical teams or software-related solutions
- A degree in Energy Science or a related field

- A gross salary range of €3,200–€4,000 per month, depending on your level of relevant experience
